John B. "Double Clutch" Bradley, age 78, of 120 B, Spruce Street, Forest City, passed away Friday, September 28, 2007 at the Cleveland Regional Medical Center in Shelby. He was born on March 11, 1929 in Caroleen to the late Barney A. and Ruleen Ray Bradley. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lou Ann Kennedy. He was a US Army veteran having served during the Korean War. Mr. Bradley was an automobile mechanic and a member of the Village Chapel Church. He also loved dirt track racing.
Mr. Bradley is survived by his wife, Bertha Bradley of the home; three sons, Larry Bradley of Forest City, Johnny Bradley and wife Patsy, of Forest City and Jacob Bradley and wife Kim, of Forest City; six daughters, Faye Bradley of Spindale, Patsy Mode and husband Garrett of Spindale, Joyce Johnson of Forest City, Lynn Newton and husband Chad of Forest City, and Tracy Tran and husband Lou of Forest City; Mr. Bradley is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Mr. Bradley is also survived by a sister, Shirley Hardin of Forest City and two brothers, James Bradley of Ellenboro and Jerry Bradley of Boiling Springs, NC.
