John Nicholls

John Wayne Nicholls, age 60, of 249 Morningstar Lake Road, Forest City, NC, died Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at Rutherford Hospital.
John was born on May 15, 1950 in Middlesex, New Jersey to the late James Nicholls and Peggy Thorne Nicholls. He worked for Whitey's Auto Supply in Florida for over 20 years and also for NAPA auto parts. He enjoyed building model cars and small engines. He was an avid New York Jets fan.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 36 years, Florence Nicholls.
Survivors include his three sons, James Kegley and wife, Kathleen, of Cowpens, SC, Michael Kegley of Forest City and Joseph Nicholls and wife, Rachel, of West Palm Beach, FL; two daughters, Christina Evans and husband, Jacob, and Stacy Nicholls both of Forest City; one brother, Charles Kegley of Bayville, NJ. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Blaine Kegley, Zoe Kegley, Tristan Kegley and Deardra Kegley.
