Johnny Lowery

Johnny F. Lowery, age 66, of Henrietta, died Friday, February 5, 2016 at his residence.
Born March 19, 1949 in Rutherford County, he was a son to the late Virgil Lee Lowery and Myrtle Padgett Lowery. Johnny served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Henrietta First Baptist Church. Johnny owned and operated Johnny's Gun Shop and worked for Duke Energy. He also worked as a carpenter for Beam's Construction for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Lowery; son, Shannon Lowery of Cliffside; daughter, Tracy Lowery Miller of Caroleen; step-daughter, Pam Ezell and husband Scott of the Shiloh Community; step- son, Chris Fowler and wife, Francesca of Forest City; two brothers, Jimmy Ray Lowery of the Chase Community and Jerry "Cotton" Lowery and wife, Judy of Lattimore; two sisters, Betty Jean Lowery Dudley and Jolene McCamron and husband, Walt, all of Fort Mill, SC. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, Jordan Lowery, Shannon Lowery, Cameron Fowler, Garrett Fowler, Cody Ezell, Brittany Ezell, Kirsty Miller and Alana Ezell.
Funeral services will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, February 8, 2016 at the Henrietta First Baptist Church with Reverend John Godfrey and Reverend Mike Cash officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church. Interment will follow in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with Military honors being accorded by the Rutherford County Honor Guard.
