Jovita Lozano Arrieta, age 63, of Forest City, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Atrium Health-Pineville.
Jovita was born Saturday, February 14, 1959 in Pololcingo, Mexico to the late Rutilo Lozano and Omensima Barcenas. She was a homemaker who enjoyed knitting for her family. Jovita was a parishioner of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church. She loved listening to Rancheras music and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Constantino Arrieta-Salgado and six brothers and sisters.
Left to cherish fond memories are her children, Beatriz Arrieta-Roman of Forest City, Julio Arrieta of Pololcingo, Mexico; Maria Arrieta-Hernandez (Efrain) of Forest City and Alejandra Arrieta of Forest City and three brothers and sisters. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Jesus Hernandez, Ana Marie Hernandez, Emmanuel Hernandez, Kaylee Roman, Francisco Roman, Gustavo Roman, Estrella Arrieta, Julia Arrieta, Adrian Arrieta and Juliet Arrieta.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 9th at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church with The Reverend Father Jose Antonio Juya officiating. The body will lie in state in the church Narthex one hour prior to the ceremony. The Vigil will be conducted from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Pololcingo Municipal Cemetery in Mexico.
