Joyce Luckadoo

Joyce Condrey Luckadoo, age 82, of Ellenboro, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the Hospice House of Cleveland County.
Born October 6, 1932 in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Condrey and Bonnie Simmons Condrey.
She worked for Kemet Industries until her retirement in 1988 and was a longtime member of Race Path Baptist Church. Joyce was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Her hobby was her family.
In addition to her family, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Joe Donald, Howard, Robert and Charles Condrey; one sister, Hazel McCluney.
Survivors include her husband, C. Paul Luckadoo; three sons, Danny Luckadoo and wife, Becky of Shelby, Gary Luckadoo of Marion and Alan Luckadoo of Shelby; three brothers, Johnny Condrey and wife, Joyce of Shelby, Billy Condrey and wife, Carol of Shelby and Roger Condrey and wife, Carol of Lake Lure; one sister, Diane Cloniger and husband, Tom of Charlotte. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at one o'clock on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Race Path Baptist Church with Reverend Randall Cooper and Reverend John Godfrey officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
