Judith Mashburn

Judith Radford Mashburn, age 64, of Walnut Street, Henrietta, NC, died Saturday, July 21, 2012 at her residence.
Judith was born June 8, 1948 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Paul Radford and Iris Mezzemo Radford. She worked in textiles for many years, but her life's enjoyment was being a hair stylist in which she did most of her life. She was also actively involved with the local DAV chapter with her late husband, Paul. She loved her family and her pets. She was also a member of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Paul Mashburn; on step-son, Jeff Mashburn and a sister, Diane Deyton.
Left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Michael Radford and wife, Karen of Shelby and Doug Mashburn of Henrietta; one daughter, Savanna Mashburn of Bostic; two step-sons, Perry Mashburn and wife, Susie of Polk County and Slick Mashburn and wife, Elaine of Kings Mountain; one step-daughter, Paula Board and husband, Mike of Harrisburg, NC; two brothers, David Radford of Ellenboro and Stanley Radford and wife, Rhonda of Asheboro, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
A funeral mass will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church with Fr. Herbert Burke and Rev. Mr. Andy Cilone officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. Rosary services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. and a family visitation will follow until 8:00 p.m. on Monday at Harrelson Funeral Home.
