Judy Epley

     Judy Epley, age 73, of Spindale, NC passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Oakland Living Center.    

     Judy was born Sunday, July 2, 1950, in Rutherford County, NC to the late Paul Wellborn and Mary Bailey Wellborn.  Judy was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and sister.  She was a member of Johnson Memorial Baptist Church.  Judy loved cooking, gardening, camping and shopping. 

     Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Amy Monteith (Michael), Todd Martin, Shannon Martin; her sister, Gloria Martin, brothers, Robert Wellborn (Linda), Mike Wellborn (Luann), Gary Wellborn; grandchildren, Megan Friday, Calab Martin, Hannah Monteith, Doston Martin, Dillon Martin, Ethan Martin and Lindsey Pizzo.  She also had six great grandchildren.

     A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel.  The family will receive friends an hour prior to the time of the service at the funeral home.
