Judy Norman

Judy Ann Norman, age 61, of Ellenboro, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2007 at Rutherford Hospital following an extended illness. Judy was born August 2, 1945 in Rutherford County to Troy Fonzo Laws and Laverne Padgett Laws. She grew up in Rutherford County and had worked for Cone Mills. She moved to the Chicago, Illinois area in the mid-1970's and returned to Rutherford County in the early 1990's. She was preceded in death by her father, her husband, and by two sons, Robert and Jerry Dean Norman.

She is survived by a son, John Norman and his wife Debbie of Bostic, NC; two daughters, Phyllis Christine Norman of Ellenboro, NC, and Loretta Hines and her husband Todd of Spindale, NC; three brothers, Roy Laws of Spindale, NC, Ronald Laws of Ellenboro, NC, and Tony Laws of Henrietta, NC; two sisters, Brenda Hoppes of Bostic, NC, and Janice Dyer of Ruth, NC. She is also survived by her mother Laverne Laws of Ellenboro, and by seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
