J.W. Sprouse

J.W. Sprouse, age 82, of Mooresboro, NC, died Saturday, December 11, 2010 at his residence.
J.W. was born on November 11, 1928 in Cherokee County, SC to the late John King Sprouse and Ruby Stanley Sprouse. He served in the US Army during the Korean War and was member of Goodes Creek Baptist Church. He worked as a truck driver for Cone Mills, Robbins Brick & Block Company and Turner Trucking before his retirement.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Catherine Doggett Sprouse; two children, Daniel K. Sprouse and Marsha Gail Reid and one brother, Herman Sprouse.
Survivors include his wife of 16 years, Louise Frashier Sprouse; two daughters, Sonya Bagwell and Donna McDaniel and husband, Brian both of Ellenboro; three sons, Mike Sprouse and wife, Linda of Forest City, Rusty Sprouse and wife, Karen of Ellenboro and Keith Sisk of Columbia, SC; three step-children, Dwight Gosey and wife, Cathy of Mooresboro, Daryal Gosey and wife, Jill of Bostic and Regina Fox and husband, Frankie of Forest City. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, ten step-grandchildren and 11 step-great grandchildren.
