Karen Saunders

Karen Elaine Saunders, age 53, of Pinkwood Drive, Rutherfordton, NC, died Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Hospice House.
Karen was born September 10, 1958 in Rutherford County, NC to the late James Carl Wilson and Margie Agatha Brooks Wilson. She worked for Halls Caf', Watts Regulator and Deverco Services for several years. She was a member of Harmon Street Baptist Church and enjoyed flower gardening and reading her Bible. She was known for her caring heart and love for others.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Linda Kay Wilson Jimmie Carol Ballard and one brother, Stanley Carl Wilson.
Survivors include her life partner, Jerry Greene; one son, Michael Todd Fain of Spartanburg; one daughter, Sherrie Lynn Wilson of Charlotte and one sister, Sandra Ann Fisher of Spartanburg. She is also survived by two grandchildren.
