Kathleen Fuller

Kathleen Fuller, age 74, of Forest City, passed away Friday, August 2, 2019 at Fair Haven Home of Forest City.

Kathleen was born December 12, 1944 in Marshall, NC to the late Grady Ruff and Iva Jenkins Ruff. She was a homemaker who loved taking care of her family and friends. She always showed love and compassion to those who needed care. Kathleen was a member of East Rutherfordton Church of God and an avid fisherman. She enjoyed playing bingo which was one her favorite things to do at Fair Haven.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rhonda “Sissy” Babb; five brothers and one sister.

Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Curtis “Skip” Babb of Harris and Barry Babb and wife, Lisa of Forest City; brother, Michael Ruff (Alice) of Greenville, SC and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at the Fair Haven Home of Forest City, 830 Bethany Church Road, with Reverend Bill Alley officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the nursing home.

The family wishes to thank the wonderful and caring staff of Fair Haven for the love that was given to Kathleen. They were just like family to her. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to Fair Haven Home, Activity Bingo Fund, 830 Bethany Church Road, Forest City, NC  28043.
