Kathleen Elizabeth Skipper Lynch, age 70, of Big Springs Avenue, Forest City, NC, died Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
Kathleen was born August 4, 1941 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Joseph Earl Skipper and Cordie Hunsinger Skipper. She was a homemaker and a member of Forest City Foursquare Church. She enjoyed cooking and canning. She was an 'angel with an attitude' and was known for her life's motto which was, 'We Got This.'
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny 'Deuce' Lynch and two brothers, Ben Skipper and J.C. Skipper.
Besides her mother, she is survived by two sons, Earl Robert Mace and wife, Sharon of Rutherfordton and Alan William Lynch and wife, Natalie of Caroleen; one sister, Sherry Gragg and husband, Johnny of Rutherfordton; three brothers, Jerry Skipper of Chesnee, SC, Robert Skipper and Grady Skipper both of Ellenboro. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Heather Lynch, Savanna Mace, A.J. Lynch, Garrett Byers, and Kaylan Lynch and by numerous nieces and nephews.
