Kathy Greene

Kathy Smith Greene, age 51, of Henrietta, died Saturday, March 7, 2009 at her residence. A native of Rutherford County, she was a daughter of the late Leonard Smith and Annie Sue Nanney Smith. She was a longtime member of Temple Baptist Church and had worked 25 years as a lab technician at Cone Mills before her retirement. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Michaels and her brother, Michael Craig Smith and a step-grandchild, Blake Elijah Greene.
Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Mark Greene; one son, Kenneth Dixon, Sr. and his wife Sonya of Henrietta; one step-son, Marcus Greene, Jr. of Cliffside; one step-daughter, Nickie Hall and her husband, Randy of Radford, VA; one sister, Alexis Smith of Mooresboro; three grandchildren, Brianna Dixon, Jadah Bradley and Kenneth Dixon, Jr.; two step-grandchildren, Hayden Hall and Steven Kane Phillips; two nieces and three nephews.
