Kenneth Green

Kenneth "Red Man" Green, age 53, of Forest City, NC, died Sunday, June 9, 2013 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
Kenneth was born August 21, 1959 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Paul Memory Green and Carolyn Hawkins Green. He worked as a plumber for George Brooks Plumbing for over 18 years and was a Baptist. Kenneth enjoyed fishing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Neal Hawkins and Dennis Green.
Survivors include three brothers, Paul Caulford of Forest City, Bruce Green and wife, Joan of Mooresboro and Melvin Green of Forest City; two sisters, Darlene Millwood and husband, Ted of Ellenboro and Helen Green of Forest City. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Reverend Bob Philbeck and Reverend Paul Nelon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time in the church sanctuary.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Harrelson Funeral and Cremation Services, 1251 US Highway 221A, Forest City, NC 29043 to help defray funeral costs.
