Landon Boone

Landon Dillard Boone, age 57, of Old Wagy Road, Forest City, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Mission Hospital in Asheville from a massive stroke.
Born January 30, 1960 in Randolph County, he is the son of Jean Boone who resides in Forest City and the late L. D. Boone. Landon worked in construction as a carpet installer and was an avid fisherman. He also enjoyed muscadine grapes and blackberries.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Crystal Boone.
Besides his mother, survivors include one son, Landon Tyler Boone of Spindale; sister, Sandra Carroll of Kings Mountain and brother, Alan Boone of Rutherfordton.
At the request of the family, no formal services will be conducted. The family will be gathered at 376 Wagy Road, Forest City.
