Larry Quinn

Larry Quinn, age 72, of 395 Dixie Trail, Forest City, died Saturday, July 18, 2009 in Caroleen. A native of Rutherford County, he was a son of the late Clarence Earl Quinn and Pearl Biggerstaff Quinn. He operated Harriltown Service Station for 34 years and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. He was an avid fisherman and loved to garden.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Tom Quinn, Johnny Quinn and Joe Quinn and one sister, Nancy Bradley.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Becky Quinn; one son, Mark Quinn of Sandy Mush; two sisters, Margaret Neal and her husband, Ervin, of Sandy Mush and Martha Taylor and her husband, Joe, of Caroleen, three sister in-laws, Fran Quinn and Mary Ann Quinn both of Caroleen and Faye Quinn of Bostic; two brother in-laws, Willis Shew and his wife, Martha of Ellenboro and Doug Shew of Rutherfordton. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews and a number of great nieces and nephews as well as a host of friends.
