Lavada A. Wall, age 76, of the Shiloh Community, passed away Friday, January 13, 2017 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.
Born on October 8, 1940 in Greenville County, SC, she was a daughter to the late Andy Shuford Allen and Annie Eulalia Price Allen. Lavada worked at Tanner Mill for forty-five years before retirement. She was a member of Gray's Creek Baptist Church and a dedicated servant of the Lord.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Cecil Howard Wall; sister, June Rebecca Dotson and brother, James Craig Allen.
Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Catherine Blanton Davis and husband, Terry of Waynesville, NC and Barbara Blanton Parker and husband, Ronnie of Shiloh; a son, William Blanton, Jr. and wife, Michelle of Cliffside; five grandchildren, Andrew Lee Hughes (Kandi), Brandon Scott Davis, Amanda Hughes Marshall (Thomas), Ryan Terrell Davis (Sarah) and Aaron Blanton; seven great-grandchildren, Travis Marshall, Gabriella Davis, Kadence Hughes, Kaytlin Marshall, Jeremiah Davis, Isaiah Davis and Emma Davis.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Gray's Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Bryan Ezell and Reverend John Godfrey officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior the service time at the church.
