Leroy Mcginnis

Leroy "Roy" McGinnis, 56, of Forest City, passed away Friday, August 25, 2006 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC. Roy was born on October 24, 1949 in Rutherford County to Jessie James McGinnis and Emma Bradley McGinnis of Forest City. He was a lifelong resident of Rutherford County where he worked as a roofer for McGinnis Roofing. He was a member of the First Wesleyan Church of Forest City.

He is survived by his mother Emma McGinnis; one step-son, Roger Snyder of Gastonia, NC; three brothers, Ervin McGinnis of Mooresboro, NC, Mike McGinnis and Steve McGinnis both of Forest City; one sister, Barbara McGinnis Bracket also of Forest City. He is also survived by three step-grandchildren.
