Linda Griffin

Linda Faye Nichols Griffin, age 73, of Forest City, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2020 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

Linda was born September 5, 1947 in Spartanburg County, SC to the late Ralph T. Nichols and Hathleen Dills Couch. She worked as an accountant for Era Aviation in Anchorage, Alaska for twenty years before her retirement. Linda was a member of Sisk Memorial Missionary Methodist Church and enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, halibut fishing and bear hunting. One of her favorite pastimes was sitting by Lake Louise in Alaska.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles A. “Chuck”, Sr. and brother, Ralph E. “Billy” Nichols.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Stephonia Anderson (Chris Grant) of Forest City; son, Allen Griffin (Cindie Mullis) of Lehigh, Florida; sister, Marlen Curtis (Ray) of Forest City; aunt, Ruby Strader of Spindale; three grandsons, Deral Anderson, Kai Griffin and Charlie Mullis; two granddaughters, Hannah Grant and Savannah Grant.

A celebration of life will be conducted on a later date.
