Linda Walker

Linda Sisk Walker, age 63, of Forest City, NC, died Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
Linda was born May 30, 1949 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Lee Sisk and Fannie Connor Sisk. She worked in textiles for many years and as a supervisor for Henderson Care. She was also a member of Fellowship Holiness Church in Spindale.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Richard Walker; one brother, Carl Sisk and sister, Edith Toney.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of almost 42 years, Jerry Walker; two daughters, Melinda Brown and husband, Jimmy of Union Mills and Tammy Johnson and husband, Dustin of Forest City; one son, Scottie Walker of Marion, NC; four brothers, J.C. Sisk, Herman Sisk and wife, Sonja, Harvey Sisk and Jerry Sisk all of Forest City; one sister, Margaret Lovelace also of Forest City. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Brandon Gowan, Shala Walker Barnett, Tony Brown, Richard Brown, Madison Walker, Stacy Walker and numerous nieces and nephews.
