Lisa Coffey

Lisa Coffey, age 61, of Bostic, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, November 17, 2024 at her home.

Lisa was born Wednesday, June 5, 1963 in Rutherford County. She worked as a Lab Technician for Watts Regulator for many years. Lisa was a faithful member of Haynes Memorial Baptist Church. She loved her church family and enjoyed serving behind the scenes. Lisa was dedicated to her family and loved cooking for them and having family game nights especially playing Yahtzee. She was a fan of cooking shows, Rawhide and enjoyed diamond art painting. Her most enjoyable time was spent with her grandchildren and hanging with her granddaughter, Abby. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Glenda Dills; brother, Marty Lane and a sister, Kay Hardin.

Those left to treasure her memory include her husband and best friend of thirty years, Ted Coffey; her father, James Lane (Brenda) of Forest City; daughters, Samantha Whiteside (Terry) of Lake Lure and Tina Dailey (Tony) of Bostic; stepson, Christopher Gowan; grandchildren, Abby Dailey, Olivia Guy (Austin), Victoria Whiteside, Addison Whiteside, Malaiki Whiteside, Micah Whiteside, Autumn Gowan; great-grandchildren, Oakley Guy, Bryce Greene, Alianna Guy and Grace Laws.

The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Thursday, November 21st at Haynes Memorial Baptist Church with Reverend Dwayne Scruggs officiating. Interment will follow at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.
