Louie Bradshaw

Louie Bradshaw, age 81, of Oak Grove Church Road, Ellenboro, NC, died Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Hospice House.
Louie was born February 2, 1931 in Lincoln County, NC to the late Amos Bradshaw and Elizabeth Hedrick Bradshaw. He was a veteran of the US Army and served during the Korean War. He operated and owned Bradshaw's Body Shop for over 20 years and also worked in pipeline construction for several years. He most recently had worked for Ed's Pallet World. He enjoyed gardening and making walking sticks. He was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church and had been attending Tri-City Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his foster parents, Gaither and Mary Beal; two foster brothers, Larry Beal, Kenneth Beal and two half-brothers, Curtis Bradshaw and Rusty Bradshaw.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 59 years, Mary Bradshaw; three sons Dale Bradshaw and wife, Susan of Ellenboro, Alan Bradshaw of Rutherfordton and David Bradshaw and wife, Raquel of Cheraw, SC; six grandchildren, Aaron Bradshaw, Andrew Bradshaw, Elise Bradshaw, Logan Bradshaw, Lennox Bradshaw and Wesley Bradshaw. He is also survived by one foster sister, Betty Lavender; two foster brothers, Gene Beal, Darrell Beal and a number of half brothers and sisters.
