Louise Branch

Louise Stanley Branch, age 90, of Forest City, passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.
Born October 6, 1925 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter to the late Curtis F. Stanley and Nanola McGinnis Stanley. She was a graduate of Tri-High School and worked as a Nurse's Aide in the Nursery at Rutherford Hospital for many years. Louise was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her family, which included cooking and sewing. She was a strong, caring person and a member of Adaville Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, LaMonda Brigman; four brothers, Charles "Shorty" Stanley, "Gene" Stanley, C.F. "Junior" Stanley, Carl "Bud" Stanley and one sister, Aileen Jones.
Survivors include her loving husband of seventy years, Troy Branch; daughter, Cindy Branch and boyfriend, Shannon Downey of Forest City; sister, Gennie Warren of Texas; three grandchildren, Gina Pitchford and husband, Robert of Ellenboro, Jonathan Humphries and girlfriend, Rebecca Warner of Cliffside, Carmen White and husband, Andrew of Shelby; four great-grandchildren, Laela Humphries, Troy Pitchford, Jack Pitchford and Jasper Fagan.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Scott Huffman and Reverend Lanny J. Funchess officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery.
