Louise Hembree

Louise Ford Hembree, age 81, of 158 Brookmont Avenue, Forest City, NC passed away Monday, December 10, 2007 at Grace Hospital in Morganton. She was born May 5, 1926 in Rutherford County to the late Orval O. Ford and Essie May Scoggins Ford. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Pete Hembree, a son-in-law Carl D. Burleson, four brothers and three sisters. Louise was a very giving person who loved and lived for her family and others. She loved to sew, read and cook. She was a long time member of Liberty Baptist Church and had previously worked as a spinner.
She is survived by three sons, Steve Hembree and wife Wanda of Morganton, NC, Raymond Hembree and wife Pat of Ellenboro, NC and Larry Hembree of Forest City, NC; three daughters, Diane Burleson of Morganton, NC, Linda Calloway and husband Roger of Hamptonville, NC, and Deborah Crowder and husband Jack of Hendersonville, NC; a sister, LaVerne Frietze of Annadale, VA; thirteen grandchildren, Rafe Hembree, Leith Hembree, Kara Punch, Kelly Hembree, Tabitha Morrow, Dawn Hembree, April Price, Jessica Hembree, Katey Hembree, Kevin Franklin, Eric Burleson, Cotrinna Stamey, and Brian Benton. Also surviving are twenty-two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
