Louise Padgett

Louise Canipe Padgett, 56, of Ellenboro, passed away Tuesday, August, 15, 2006 at Rutherford Hospital. Louise was born on March 30, 1950 in Harris, NC to Perry Canipe and Melva Henson Canipe. She was a lifelong resident of Rutherford County having worked at Dicey Fabric as a Warper Tuner. She was a member of the Plain View Baptist Church.

She is survived by two sons; Shane Pruitt of Ellenboro, and Randall Lance Pruitt of Fountain Inn, SC; a daughter, Lisa Dennis of Fayette, Alabama; three brothers, Virgil Canipe of Shelby, NC, Steve Canipe of Forest City, NC, and David Canipe of Chesnee, SC; six sisters, Hazel Dills of Rock Hill, SC, Betty Robertson of Summerton, SC, Pauline Padgett of Rutherfordton, NC, Marie Atkins of Forest City, Janet Lowery of Rutherfordton, NC, and Kathy Hoyle of Rutherfordton, NC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, and her mother Melva Canipe of Rutherfordton.
