Lynda Albert

Lynda Padgett Hawkins Albert, age 72, of Huddleston, Virginia, formerly of Forest City, NC, passed away on September 11, 2017.
Born August 18, 1945 in Rutherford County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Padgett and Lena Mae Allen Padgett. Lynda was a graduate of Cool Springs High School and a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening; taking care of her pets, and especially loved her children and grandchildren. Lynda was of the Baptist faith.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of twenty-six years, Gary Albert; two daughters, Debbie Gunter and husband, Kelton of Weatherford, Texas and Amy McKnight and husband, Freddie of China Grove, NC; two sons, Greg Hawkins of Lynchburg, Virginia and Jerry Hawkins, Jr. and wife, Tasha of Charleston, South Carolina. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at noon on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the graveside.
