Lynell Tomblin

Lynell Jonas Tomblin, age 78, of Forest City, NC, died Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at Hillcrest Adult Care Facility.
A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Aileen Jonas Bridges. She worked as a secretary for Reeves Brothers Manufacturing and retired after more than 25 years of service and was a long-time member of Tanner's Grove United Methodist Church.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Lela Jonas.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Elbert E. Tomblin of Forest City; one daughter, Pam Rogers and her husband Ken of Spindale, NC; two brothers in-law, Clyde Tomblin and his wife Janet and Charles Tomblin and his wife Shirley all of Spindale. She is also survived by several cousins.
