Marilyn Setzer

Marilyn Morrow Setzer, age 74, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2008. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Richard, and is survived by her three daughters and their families, Susan S. Rizk and Tony of Torrance, CA and their children, Michael, Hannah and Mary of the home; Elizabeth S. Owens and Douglas of Rutherfordton, NC and their daughters, Lindsay, Emily and Kasey of the home; and Lynna S. Estep and Kent of Charlotte, NC and their daughters, Anna and Kristen of the home.

Marilyn was born on July 17, 1933 in Rutherford County. She was a graduate of R-S Central High School and a charter student of Isothermal Community College. She was with United Way of Rutherford County for 21 years where she served as Executive Director. Above all Marilyn was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, giving us her heart and love. She will be deeply missed.
