Martha Crawford

Martha "Susie" Crawford, age 58, of Spindale, NC, died Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Hospice House of Rutherford County.
Susie was born October 14, 1954 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Allen Jones and Martha Hazel Martin Jones. She was the owner and operator of several video rental stores in Morganton, Marion and Rutherfordton, which included the Showtime Video Stores and Happy Hour Video Store. She loved to crochet and was an avid collector of angel memorabilia. She was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, George Wilbur Martin.
Survivors include three sons, Tommy Allen Crawford of Spindale, Tony Jay Crawford and wife, Sheila of Forest City and Tyler Michael Crawford and wife, Nikki of Rutherfordton. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
A gathering of family and friends to honor Susie will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 12 at Harrelson Funeral Home.
