Mary McCutcheon Browning, age 55, of Forest City, NC passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 13, 2021.

She is survived by her husband, Wesley Browning; three sons, Jared Hudgins (Kaitlyn), Tyler Hudgins (Sarah) and Andrew Browning. Mary is also survived by her sister, Cheryl Bradley; two brothers, David McCutcheon and Ray McCutcheon (Renea). She has three nephews, Chris Bagnall, Cody McCutcheon, Michael McCutcheon and niece, Katie Holcomb.

Mary was preceded in death her father, Leonard McCutcheon and mother June Stansell McCutcheon. She was born in Artesia, New Mexico on March 21, 1966 and graduated from Big Spring High School. She also earned two bachelor’s degrees from Angelo State University. One in Psychology, which she used working in the State Hospital and another in Art Therapy. Mary enjoyed painting and created beautiful works of art throughout her life. She also had love for children, which was exemplified by her work as a public-school teacher and her doting love for her children. She adored playing with her grandchildren and making memories. This past year, her love for Jesus grew significantly and was baptized. Mary married Wesley on December 10, 1994 and had celebrated twenty-six years of marriage this past year. She and Wesley loved riding motorcycles and enjoyed one another’s company to the fullest.

A memorial service will be held in Midland, TX on a future announced date.
