Mary Greene

Mary Lou Greene, age 64, of Cliffside, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.

Mary was born July 30, 1955 in Rutherford County to the late Landrum Leander Tate and Mary Elizabeth Crowe Tate. She was a graduate of Chase High School. Mary was a homemaker who loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a past member of Floyd’s Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Greene, Sr.

Those left to cherish her memory include two sons, Charles Greene II of Cliffside and Jonathan Ike Greene (Rebecca) of Forest City; two brothers, Thomas Sherman Tate of Raleigh and Tony Leander Tate of Virginia. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Halie Smith, Logan Greene and Damien Greene.

A private family gathering will take place to honor Mary’s life.
