Mary Hutchins

Mary Jane Silver Hutchins, age 72, of McDaniel Road, Forest City, NC, died Saturday, December 4, 2010 at Rutherford Hospital.
Mary was born on December 4, 1938 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Jessie Edgar Silver and Mary Louise Hamrick Silver. She was a member of the Village Chapel in Forest City and enjoyed word puzzles. She had worked in textiles for many years and was a caregiver to her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three husbands, C.M. Holland, Howard Pentz and Norris Hutchins; one son, Richard Pentz; two sisters, Becky Brown and Ellen Fletcher; four step-children, Betty Elliott, Monroe Holland, Jimmy Holland and Ken Holland.
Survivors include two sons, Tony Holland and wife, Barbara, and Tim Holland and wife, Chris, both of Forest City; one sister, Christean Absher of Forest City; two brothers, John Silver and wife, Anne, of Lowesville, NC and Ray Silver and wife, Frances, of Mooresboro. She is also survived by three step-children, Denise Radford, Ricky Hutchins and Marion Hutchins; 22 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
