Mary Smith

Mary Jo Smith, age 72, of Bostic, NC, died Friday, September 5, 2008 at Fair Haven Home.
A native of Rutherford County she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Ethel McCue Smith. She was a member of Mountain Creek Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was an avid collector of knickknacks, who saw beauty in the little things of life. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Evertte Smith.
Survivors include three sons; Randy Piercy, Sr. and his wife Mary of Bostic, Joey Piercy of Spindale, Buddy Smith of Forest City; two brothers, Dan Smith of Indiana and Junior Smith of Morganton, NC; four sisters, Edner Roberson of Bostic, Margaret Elms of Rutherfordton, Lilly Taylor of Rutherfordton, Polly Crawford of Sarasota, Fl. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
