MaryAnn Wall, age 70, of Broadway Street, Forest City, passed away Monday, July12, 2021 at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. MaryAnn was born Thursday, October 12, 1950 in Frankfurt, Germany to the late Theodore and Margareta Lewis. She worked for Winn Dixie and Food Lion for twenty-five years before retiring. MaryAnn was a faithful member of West Point Baptist Church and enjoyed flower gardening and reading. Her favorite hobby was her grandchildren. She was affectionately known as Woo-Hoo and Mee-Mother by her grandkids.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Shane and Raymond and two sisters, Judy and Lelia all of Washington State.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of fifty years, Wayne Wall; two sons, Jeff Wall (Terry) and Greg Wall (Rita) all of Forest City and daughter, Heather Phillips (Dusty) of Ellenboro. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at West Point Baptist Church with Reverend Lance Scarlett officiating. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:45 pm at the church prior to the service.
