Mary Luckadoo Blanton

Mary Luckadoo Blanton, age 87, of Cliffside passed away Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

Mary was born Friday, April 27, 1934 in Rutherford County to the late George Taft Luckadoo and Maggie Beatrice Wise Luckadoo. She was a graduate of Tri-High School and worked at Cone Mills-Avondale Plant for many years. Mary was dedicated to her Christian faith and loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Hugh Blanton and a sister, Martha Greene.

Those left to cherish her memory include her two daughters, Pam Mason  and Michele Moore both of Cliffside; a sister, Joann Guffey of Easley, SC; grandchildren, Courtney Moore, Jason Couch (Jennifer), Brittney Lee and great-grandchildren, Haley Couch, Jason Couch, Jr., Willow Roper, River Roper, McKensie Lee and Carter Lee.

A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Monday, December 27, 2021 at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Ronnie Robbins officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
