Matthew Pannell

Matthew Pannell, age 24, of Dobbinsville died Sunday, October 2, 2011 at his residence.
Matthew was born October 30, 1986 in Cleveland County, NC to Jerry 'Cos' Pannell and Joni Pruett Pannell. He was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 2005 and a member of Caroleen United Methodist Church. He was self-employed and a partner/owner of Pannell Properties. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, corvettes and big trucks. Matthew loved spending time with his friends and was known for his compassionate heart for those in need. He was much loved by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, James 'Jamup' Pruett and paternal grandparents, Dewey and Peggy Pannell.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his grandmother, Betty Pruett of Dobbinsville; one aunt, Jill Baker and husband, Johnny of Polk County; two uncles, Ronnie Pannell and wife, Margie of Cherryville, Jimmy Pruett and wife, Donna of Dobbinsville; four cousins, Jordan Baker, Jason Pruett, Jimbo Pruett; Tammy Patterson and his best friend, Matthew Norman.
