Maurice Wilson

Maurice Eugene "Gene" Wilson, age 80, of Old Caroleen Road, Forest City, NC, died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at his residence.
Gene was born January 20, 1933 in Rutherford County, NC and was a military veteran. He was an art professor at Washington & Jefferson College for over 44 years and an avid collector of antiques and art.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marcia Janosko Wilson.
Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Lanny J. Funchess officiating. There will be no formal visitation.
