Max Henson

Max Henson, age 77, of Henrietta, NC passed away Saturday, October 4, 2008 at the Hospice House in Forest City, NC. He was born January 26, 1931 in Henrietta, NC to the late Olen Henson and Minnie Robbins Henson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Louise Carroll and two brothers, Bobby Henson and Ray Henson. Max was a loom technician who worked for Burlington Industries for 45 years. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church for 52 years where he served as a deacon and a Sunday school teacher. He was an avid fisherman. He loved running his rug loom and helping others.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Dot Henson of the home; one son, Michael E. Henson and wife Deborah of Danieltown, NC; one grandson, Shiloh M. Henson and wife Jennifer of Shiloh, NC; one great granddaughter, Madison Henson; and one brother, Lee Henson and wife Doris of Dallas, NC.
