Michael David Mosley

Michael David Mosley, age 72, of Forest City, passed away Monday, November 25, 2024 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

Michael was born Sunday, March 16, 1952 in Rutherford County to the late Max Mosley and Azlee Harris Mosley. He was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1970. Michael worked as a Powerhouse Operator for Duke Energy for thirty-seven years, before retirement. He was a dedicated member of the Cliffside Fire Department and a Fire Instructor with the NC Insurance Department for a total of thirty-seven years. Michael was a classic car enthusiast and a collector of Case Knives. He was also an avid numismatist, which is a collector of uncirculated currency. Michael enjoyed caring for his pets and was an animal lover.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of fifty-one years, Joyce Mosley and a daughter, Amanda Mosley and her husband, Travis S. Greene of Rutherfordton.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2:00 until 4:00 pm on Saturday, November 30th at Harrelson Funeral Home.
