Michael Hamilton

Michael 'Miky' Christopher Hamilton, age 38, of Forest City, died Saturday, January 3, 2009 at his residence. A native of Gaston County, he was a son of the late Bobby Lee Hamilton, Sr. He worked for Ed's Pallet World for over 14 years and enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR races. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Robert Early Hamilton, Sr. and Alvin Kellon Walker and a step-grandfather, Joe Cash.
Survivors include his mother Cathy Walker Hamilton of Forest City and her life partner, 'Big Jim' Hardin of Cliffside; two brothers, B.J. Hamilton of Forest City and Jamie Kellon Hamilton and his wife Brenda of Mt. Holly; two grandmothers, Geretha Walker of Caroleen and Lois Hamilton of Stanley, NC. He is also survived by several aunts and uncles; a special niece, Victoria Hamilton and two special nephews, Sean Craig and Matthew Hamilton.
