Michael “T.C.” Holland, age 60, of Spindale, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.
Michael was born December 5, 1959 in Rutherford County to the late C.M. Holland and Mary Jane Silver Hutchins. He worked as a truck driver for the Town of Spindale for several years and as an auto mechanic most of his life. Michael was an avid fisherman and of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Holland; stepdaughter, Stephanie Shelton; brothers, Tim, Monroe, James and Ken Holland and a sister, Betty Elliott.
Those left to cherish his memory include his loving companion, Lisa Moore; son, Michael “Billy Wray” Holland of Spindale; stepsons, Bobby Causby and Billy Joe Causby; stepdaughters, Misty Baker and Christina Ferguson all of Forest City; sister, Marion Hutchins of Sandy Mush; aunt, Chris Absher of Bessemer City; uncle, John Silver of Stanley; seventeen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 17th at the Ferguson residence, 165 Church Drive, Forest City, NC 28043.
