Mike Sharpe

Mike Sharpe, age 53, of Ellenboro, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Henderson Care of Forest City.
Born September 29, 1960 in Providence, Rhode Island, he was a son of the late Troy Sharpe and Jean Sisk Sharpe. Mike worked many years for All-American Homes as a carpenter. He enjoyed playing ball, water skiing, fishing and rafting.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cindy Sharpe.
Survivors include his wife, Kim Sharpe; daughter, Nicole Billings and husband, Eric of Rutherfordton; son, Cameron Sharpe of the home and two grandchildren, Jacob Sharpe and Caleb Strother. He is also survived by one brother, Burt Sharpe and wife, Karen of San Diego, CA; sister, Pam Gragg and husband, Mark of Ellenboro; nephew, Jason Selph and three nieces, Sarah Navaro, Rachel James and Alexis Sharpe.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, September 15, 2014 at Riverside Baptist Church with Reverend Ted Blankenship officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.
