Minnie M. Fox, age 87, of Cliffside, passed away peacefully in the presence of her loved ones on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at her residence.
Born February 18, 1930 in Brandon, Florida, she was a daughter to the late Frank Buehler and Gladys Counts Buehler. She was a homemaker and a member of Prospect Baptist Church and also a member of the Eastern Star Taylors Lodge #234. Minnie worked for J.P. Stevens Mill in Taylors for thirty years before her retirement. She enjoyed fishing and working on puzzles, but she especially loved her family. Minnie's life was centered on her family and taking care of their needs. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-two years, Jack T. Fox and a sister, Martha Permenter.
Those left to cherish her memory include three daughters, Connie McCraw of Cliffside, Patricia Ann Fox of Cliffside and Debra McConnell of Greenville, SC; two sons, Jack "Bo" T. Fox, Jr. and wife, Sarah of Anderson, SC and Frank Walter Fox and wife, Renee of Greenville. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Christie Curry (Rodney), Katie Veach (Jake), Josie Baxter (Devon), Jack Fox III (Ashley), Sara Brooks (Kurt), Gidget Hall (Shane), Logan Riddle, Christopher Todd McCraw and twenty-eight great-grandchildren; two special nieces, Mary Frances Hall and Marie Gates both of Florida.
The graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 19, 2017 in Graceland East Memorial Park in Simpsonville, SC with Reverend Ernie Cole officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
