Minnie Robbins

Minnie Wilkie Robbins, age 90, of Forest City, NC, died Friday, September 30, 2011 at Hospice House.
Minnie was born April 26, 1921 in Salem, AL to the late Cyrus Wilkie, Sr. and Grace Rhoney Wilkie. She was a longtime member of Holly Springs Baptist Church and worked and retired from Burlington Industries. She enjoyed working and helping people.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of almost 60 years, Joseph C. Robbins, Jr.; two sons, John Douglas Robbins and James Boyce Robbins.
Survivors include three sons, Joe Robbins and wife, Pat of Sunshine Community, Roy Robbins and wife, Angela of Forest City and Bruce Robbins and wife Carole of Forest City; one sister, Frances W. Henson of Forest City and one brother, Cyrus Wilkie, Jr. of Cherokee Springs, SC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces.
