Myrtle Henderson

Myrtle Luckadoo Henderson, age 88, passed away Sunday, October 29, 2006, at her residence following an extended illness. Myrtle was born November 5, 1917 in Rutherford County to the late Scott Luckadoo and Ida Sanders Luckadoo. She was a lifelong resident of Rutherford County having primarily worked in the textile mills.

She is survived by four sons, Donald Henderson of Caroleen, NC, Harvey Henderson of Henrietta, NC, Harold Dean Henderson of Shiloh, NC, and Larry Henderson of Forest City, NC; a daughter, Ernestine Pace of Forest City; three brothers Charles Luckadoo of Landrum, SC, Ray Luckadoo of Chesnee, SC, and Leroy Luckadoo of Wellston, MI; a sister Nellie Ree Mills of Landrum, SC; she is also survived by 12 grandchildren and by numerous great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
