Nancy Sizemore Baber, age 56, of Forest City, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2020 at her residence.
Nancy was born November 29, 1963 in Rutherford County to the late John Wesley Arrowood and Irene Owens Melton. She was a graduate of R-S Central High School, class of 1981. Nancy worked in management for Burger King for over eighteen years. She was a dedicated employee and much respected by her co-workers. Nancy enjoyed connecting with others on Facebook and spending time with her family. She was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a stepfather, Gene Melton and three brothers, Tommy Dean Owens, Johnny Ray Owens and Andrew David Owens.
Those left to cherish her memory include husband, Keith Baber; two daughters, Elisha Sizemore of West Virginia and Samantha Bailey (Chris) of Rutherfordton; two sons, Chris Day of Greensboro, NC and Andrew Crossland of Forest City; sister, Carolyn Ray of Spartanburg, SC and brother, Shane Melton (Feather) of Spindale. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Xavier White, Branston Baber, Brian Day, Cassidy Day, Lillian Day, Alex Bailey and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be conducted at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Chad Sisk and Ambassador Richard Baynard officiating.
