Noreen Mcdaniel

Noreen McDaniel, age 68, of Caroleen, NC, went home to be with her Savior on Monday, September 18, 2017 at the Hospice House of Rutherford County.
Born November 18, 1948 in Rutherford County, she was a daughter to the late Jack Dobbins and Margaret Butler Dobbins. Noreen was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1968 and was currently attending Harriett Memorial Free Will Baptist Church. She was a dedicated homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Noreen loved her family dearly.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of forty-two years, Terry McDaniel; two daughters, Robin Scruggs and husband, Dwayne and Jennifer Blanton and husband, Shawn all of Forest City; a son, Jeremy McDaniel and wife, Leslie also of Forest City; one brother, Wayne Dobbins and wife, Mary Jo of Dobbinsville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Andrew Scruggs, Luke Blanton, Thomas Blanton, T.J. Scruggs, Anslee McDaniel, Myla McDaniel and Rowen McDaniel.
The funeral service will be conducted at noon on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with her husband, Reverend Terry McDaniel, officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. At other times they will be gathered at 196 Rollins Road, Forest City.
