Nova Grace Bailey

Nova Grace Bailey, infant daughter of Jessica Shires, of Forest City, was called home to be with her heavenly father on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center.

Even though she never took a step in this life, she made a lasting imprint on the hearts of all those who loved her. Nova is forever in the presence of heaven’s angels.

She was preceded in death by an infant sister, Alyssa Cogdell and her great-grandparents, Gail Bailey and Rita and Dennis Gilbert.

Besides her loving mother, she is survived by siblings, Xavier Jennings, Tylan Jennings, Kenzie Gilbert, Levi Bailey and Alisa Lawter; grandparents, Angela Bailey of Forest City and Jerry and Teresa Gilbert of Shelby; great-grandfather, Doug Bailey of Spindale; aunt, Brittany Richardson (Cody) of Henrietta; uncle, D.J. Hush of Forest City and a number of cousins.

A memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Friday, March 15^th at the Harrelson Chapel with Mr. Kenneth Linder officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
