O'Lema Holland

O'Lema Gordon Holland, age 93, of Chase High Road, Forest City, NC, died Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Hospice House of Rutherford County.
O'Lema was born July 21, 1919 in Rutherford County, NC to the late Edgar Gordon and Lydia Lovelace Gordon. She was a homemaker and member of Chase Baptist Church for over 46 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, T.C. Holland; five sisters and six brothers.
Survivors include two daughters, Peggy H. Brackett and husband T.L. of Spartanburg, SC, Pat H. Collins and husband, John of Ware Shoals, SC; three sons, Donald E. Holland and wife, Paulette, Ray H. Holland, James N. Holland and wife, Janice all of Forest City. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery with Reverend Scott Butler officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
