Parker Lancaster, age 17, of Forest City, died Monday, May 8, 2017.
Born February 29, 2000 in Spartanburg County, SC, he was a son of Angela Lancaster of Forest City and the late Gregg Lancaster. Parker was currently a student at Isothermal Community College. His creative spirit found an outlet on You Tube and in composing music. He was also known for his keen sense of humor. Parker loved and missed his dad greatly.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronnie Smith.
Besides his mother, survivors include two brothers, Tyler Hess and wife, Stephanie of Jacksonville, NC and Branden Hess and wife, Whitney of Twenty-Nine Palms, California; one sister, Kaylee Lancaster of Forest City; grandmother, Kim Pruett and husband, Tony of Chesnee; a close family friend, Max Watkins of Columbus and Parker's beloved pet, Itsy.
A private service will be held to celebrate Parker's life.
